On the contrary, created for the tea ceremony, this welcoming object, so cleverly conceived, is thought over as a materialization of the invisible and a passage to the palpable dimension. In other words, when the object held is warm, the black layer becomes transparent and reveals an oriental pattern in thermochromatic ink.
